You guys are always asking for what I am eating or what I buy at the grocery store so I complied a list of my goto shopping list at Trader Joe’s alongside 5 easy meals with the ingredients I get. I also included some of your favorites from Trader Joe’s.
Freezer items:
Pre-cooked Turkey Meatballs
Cauliflower Fried Rice – sooo good! See recipe here
Riced Cauliflower – the frozen kind is a great alternative to the fresh cauliflower rice when you don’t plan to eat it right away
Veggie Fried Rice – add in ground chicken and use Aminos in place of soy!

Simple Recipes:
Cauliflower Fried Rice //
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bag of Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Rice
2 Eggs
Sriracha and Low Sodium Soy Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Use a medium sauce pan with cooking spray to cook the eggs scramble style. Set aside once cooked.
In the same pan add in bag of Cauliflower rice and cook until no longer froze.
Add in egg, soy sauce (as much to you liking) and sriracha.
So good and satisfies my craving for fried rice!
Meatball Ravioli //
INGREDIENTS :
Fresh Ravioli
Frozen Turkey Meatballs
Tomato Basil Marinara
DIRECTIONS :
In a large sautepan add 8 cups of Lightly salted water to boil. Add in the fresh ravioli. Return to a boil and let cook for 3-4mins. Drain pasta and to the a pan with meatballs.
For the meatballs I place a whole bag of meatballs (for the whole family) and microwave them for 2 mins so they are unthawed and then I add them to a pan on the stovetop. I continue to cook them until they are brown and I will add in spinach to sneak greens into my kids meals.
After I add the marinara sauce and then the ravioli.
Another options Michael and I will do is use spaghetti squash instead of ravioli.
Chicken Sausage and Penne Pasta //
INGREDIENTS :
Chicken Sausage
Penne Arrabbiata
Spinach
DIRECTIONS :
Cut up the Trader Joe’s Chicken Sausage and add it to a skillet. Then add the Penne Arrabbiata to the skillet (frozen) and then I like to add mine to a bed of fresh spinach.
Marinated Chicken //
INGREDIENTS :
Chicken Breasts
Island Soyaki Marinate
Jasmine Rice
DIRECTIONS :
Place however many chicken breasts you would like into a large ziplock bag and cover them with the Trader Joes Island Soyaki Marinate. I like to marinate mine over night but you can also do it for 1-2 hours if need be.
Then you can either cook the chicken breasts on the grill or in a skillet. This is super easy and has such great flavor. You can either pair it with grilled veggies or I will have mine with the Trader Joes Jasmine Rice if we aren’t grilling.
Cauliflower Pizza //
INGREDIENTS :
Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Pizza Crust
Pizza Sauce
Fresh Mozzarella
Fresh Basil
Trader Joe’s Turkey Meatballs
DIRECTIONS :
Bake the Cauliflower crust first as instructed on the box. Then add your desired toppers. I like to add marinara pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and then add the Trader Joes Turkey Meat Balls. Place the pizza back in the oven for 10-15 mins or until your cheese is bubbly and the edges are a little brown.

I love the sweet potato gnocchi with sage from the frozen aisle!
Also I love making that cauliflower fried rice, but I heard they are discontinuing the frozen cauliflower veggie mix 🙁
