When it comes to picking out an outfit, I’m always reaching for the staples in my closet. You’ll find me in jeans and a t-shirt more often than not. So when the seasons change, I like to switch up my wardrobe and incorporate some fall staples. This fall season, I’ve got a few on my list…
These five things are staples in my wardrobe once the temperatures start to drop and crispness returns to the air!
I found the PERFECT Sherpa vest for fall! I love the waterfall style and this is incredibly soft. I love to layer this over flannel shirts, turtlenecks and sweaters! It also pairs well with leggings and cozy boots. Really the perfect layer for fall! Comes in a pretty burnt orange color too!
The mock neck sweater is a timeless chic sweater style that will never go out of style. I love the relaxed fit and hi low hem. You can wear this with so many different fall looks and it comes in a few other colors!
You probably have noticed one of my favorite accessories for fall is a pom beanie. This faux fur beanie comes in few colors and look so cute with any fall outfit!
The pair of shoes I reach for most in the fall are these Marc Fisher Izzie boots from Nordstrom! The shearling trim makes them super cute (and trendy), and they have NICE thick soles that provide great traction on wet or dry surfaces. And they’re warm – which is a really good thing, because I think we’re in for a cold fall and winter! I love that they’re both cute enough to wear around town and to a lunch date, and sturdy enough to go hiking in. Nordstrom sells them in a few different colors here. I really do give them 5 stars!
Okay these high waisted (under $50) leggings have been a go to of mine for years. Not only are they high-waisted, but they are warm and comfy! This is the pair of leggings I wear in the fall/winter with all my oversized sweaters because they hold up, are warm and comfy!

The purse in theses photos is the one I’ve been looking for.
