I’m definitely a girl who loves a lux handbag or an extra special pair of shoes here and there, but I’m also always trying to mix high-end pieces with lower price point items. A lot of my outfits you see on Instagram or on the blog feature one or two investment pieces while the rest is very affordable. Because I’m all about this kind of style, when I had a chance to partner with Walmart on their new Lord & Taylor Premium Brands Shop, I jumped at it!
Good style is something that should be accessible to everyone, so finding everyday ways to mix and match price points is a necessity. For this cozy fall look, the biggest investment piece is definitely the jacket. It’s a double-breasted style from Karl Lagerfeld Paris, but through Walmart’s Lord & Taylor Premium Brands Shop, it’s still only $136! And in my opinion, jackets are one of the best investments because you can layer them up with just about anything for most of the year (at least in the midwest).
As for the rest of the outfit – the sweater dress, bag and boots are all also from Walmart.com! Although the color palette is neutral, I tried to mix and match all the textures. The ribbed look of the dress and blended style of the jacket plays so well off of the statement pattern – the snakeskin boots. Aren’t they fun? They’re also more of an investment at $85 and being from the Lord & Taylor Premium Brands Shop, but by snagging the dress and bag from the regular women’s section at Walmart.com the complete look is a great mix of price points.
I was able to put together this entire look from Walmart for less than $260! Because it was over $35, I received free shipping too, which is always a win. Customers always get free shipping from Walmart.com with orders of more than $35, no membership required!
So if you’re looking for a few investment pieces along with casual and affordable everyday items, definitely give Walmart’s new Lord & Taylor Premium Brands Shop a look along with their regular women’s section. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer!
A big thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post!
