Sutton’s Big Girl Room

Finally, after many months of working on Sutton’s big girl room it’s finally ready! If you guys have noticed by now, my home decor projects take time. I am so indecisive about items and themes and I change my mind a lot so I am so happy to finally be sharing her room updates!

I fell in LOVE with this mural by Anne Wall and this was my starting point!

I slowly started picking other pieces for her room. I adore this rose gold bed, that so many of you asked about!

I ended up keeping her dresser and bookshelf from her nursery and adding new hardware. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to update a bedroom.  Some places to find cute hardware is Wayfair, Anthropologie and Etsy.

How adorable is this kid’s chair from Lulu & Georgia. I love this little corner of her room. She will sit there and read.

The curtains and mirrors are from this darling local kids store called Lauren Alexandra.

I really want to get a new light in her room and a few other things here and there. My biggest tip when updating or re-decorating rooms is to take your time. Don’t feel bad if it takes longer than expected.

  1. Love Sutton ‘s big girl room! Where is the Sutton Jane custom pictures of her from in the black frame?

  2. Also – where did you get the bed? This link sends me to a place that sells in AUS only. And of course I love the bed and live in the USA.
