Work Wear to Street Wear

A common blog topic request I get is what are some great and affordable places to shop for work out. I love finding pieces that not only are appropriate for a meeting/work setting but also can be worn off duty and in a casual setting.

I worked an office job right out of college and know how difficult it can be to find the right pieces that work for the office and off duty. I have business related work year round and always need some workwear staples.

Which is why I love Ann Taylor’s Summer collection. I have always been a fan of Ann Taylor how versatile the styles are and can be worn as workwear and transitioned into the weekends.

One of my key pieces I always have as my go-to is a fitted blazer. With Summer in full swing, it’s time to update your blazer. I love a pretty neutral that can be layered over dresses, skirts, you name it. The 3/4 sleeve on this blazer from Ann Taylor is perfect for summer and I love the amazing fit!

This sleeveless blouse can be worn with so many different looks, from trousers, shorts, skirts. I love the pretty ruffle detail and it comes in a dark navy! I love this one too.

Shorts are completely acceptable to wear in a work setting. I love the detail on the hem of these and the length is perfect.  I recommend pairing with flats and a blouse or blazer. If shorts aren’t your thing, I love this similar style of wide-leg cropped pants with a tie. So cute!

Slide/Sandals

I don’t know about you, but I love keeping things comfortable and flats are a must for me. A neutral flat sandal or Linen slide is a great option for summer work wear.
