Getting Dressy This Holiday Season

post featured image

I consider my overall style to be more casual chic than dressy. With three kids and a busy schedule, jeans or sweats and a trendy sweatshirt are more practical for my day to day. However, during the holiday season, I love to get dressed up and celebrate in fancy tops and dresses. It is the most magical time of the year, right?!

I stepped out of my neutral comfort zone and am really glad I did because this emerald silk dress is simply gorgeous. The fabric and silhouette are so feminine and classic making it perfect for holiday celebrations this year and years to come. The subtle puff sleeves make a statement and are great for colder temps.

For a holiday party or dinner, Iโ€™d style the dress with my all time favorite nude strap sandals (they are worth the investment!), and this unique beaded clutch. I feel like I’m holding a piece of art when I carry the clutch! Since I basically have sunglasses with me at all times, I love this timeless black pair of sunglasses for the look.

Reformation makes some of my favorite dresses, and Nordstrom always carries an amazing selection of their styles year round. I love that you can get such a great variety of styles and price points at Nordstrom depending on the occasion and budget. Iโ€™ve shopped at Nordstrom over the years for everything from holiday home decor to kids outfits and designer handbags. They really are your one stop shop and also have an amazing holiday selection.

Big thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
