I hope everyone reading this has seen The Devil Wears Prada and picked up on the pun in my title for this post. If you haven’t, Meryl Streep plays a brutal magazine editor and when one of her staff suggests florals for spring as a new trend, she famously looks over at the woman and says, “Florals. For spring? Groundbreaking.” It’s one of my favorite scenes from the movie and always makes me laugh a bit. The details of this romper are stunning and I’m so glad I could wear it for you guys before my bump takes over. Although there really is plenty of room for a little bump for any of you other mamas-to-be out there wondering. My favorite detail of the romper is probably the scallop trim detail along the hem and neckline. I think it accents the florals perfectly and adds that “groundbreaking” vibe to the outfit. 😉 I also have to mention the color palette. All the different shades of coral and pink make this such a pretty choice for spring and summer. For accessories with this look, I kept things super simple. I wanted the romper to be the star of the show, so I layered some dainty gold jewelry on my wrist and neck and of course, had to wear my new Fendi.
