I often get asked about my diet and love sharing my go-to meals on Instagram stories (check out my highlight “Healthy Eats”), so today I wanted to give a more detailed look on my what I eat on a typical weekday. I’m breaking it down from when I get up to when I go to sleep.
I’m headed to work out and have water & a mint (for that early morning freshness).
Throughout my workout & after, I finish 32oz of water.
Green Smoothie (for recipe click HERE)
Banana Pancake is 4 ingredients: 1 egg, 1/2 banana, cinnamon, little bit of whole oats
For creamer I use sugar-free coffee mate.
My smoothie & banana pancake keeps me full for 4-5 hours! I do a majority of my work during those hours, so I love that I’m full & focused to do what I need to do. This is my breakfast every single day!
Today I had: Buffalo Broccoli Bowl – steamed broccoli, grilled chicken, topped with buffalo sauce, feta cheese, avocado, greek yogurt ranch dressing (Boathouse) with side of beanfield chips
2 tablespoons of Nuts n More
A flavored water or Fresca is my late afternoon treat while I’m picking up the kids & running errands.
Tonight we had: Tacos – ground turkey (with taco seasoning) in bibb lettuce cup topped with Trader Joe’s corn salsa, Trader Joe’s jalapeño sauce, pico & homemade guac + side of siete chips with salsa + another scoop of guac
5-6 chocolate covered almonds or wait & have popcorn with my Kevita after the kids are in bed
I’m in bed by 8:30 & listening to podcast. I fall asleep around 9pm.
And that’s my weekday diet! As I said my breakfast is the same every day, but my lunch & dinner obviously vary. My lunches are usually a bowl of some sort; a base of veggies & fiber (steamed kale, broccoli or cauliflower) mixed with a protein (eggs, chicken or ground turkey) topped with a little feta or goat cheese + a few sauces depending on what flavors sound good.
Let me know if you have any other questions about my daily eats!
