While most of my job doesn’t call for much more than denim and sneakers, there are times when I feel like going towards business casual. This is usually for meetings or events or things like conferences, which happen here and there. I still try to bring an effortless element to this style of dressing, and of course, always like to pick pieces that feel like me. Nothing too stuffy or office-y you know?
Since I know a lot of you guys have more traditional office jobs, I wanted to shoot one of these outfits. Something business casual that still felt cute and on trend. This is definitely something I’d wear from a meeting straight to dinner or even out for drinks with the girls.
I’m really into olive green this season and love this pair from Ann Taylor. Their entire MM Collection has great pieces, and I actually grabbed this cream cami and blazer there, too. The button detail is amazing and it’s oversized while still being fitted and flattering. Blazers are always one of the quickest ways to make an outfit feel more business casual or pulled together, and I have several from Ann Taylor. I like to pair it with one of their camis tucked in to create a waist. This makes the look feel more modern, too.
I hope this outfit provides a little inspiration for any of you girls with office jobs or looking for business casual looks! Let me know if you’d like to see more looks like this in the future!
