Somehow the summer is almost over and it’s already time for fall and back-to-school shopping. Not that I’m complaining, but this summer seriously flew by!
Sutton goes to daycare school, so I’m always looking for items that she can be comfy in while sustaining toddler play. She’s obviously very excited about shopping, so we recently headed to Uniqlo to grab a few things for her (and me, I’ll be honest). Because I know there are a lot of mamas out there looking for back-to-school scores, I wanted to share what I grabbed for Sutton.
First up, I stick to a lot of basics, since this is what she lives in during the school days. Uniqlo is such a great option for basics because everything is versatile and easy to mix and match (key for dressing kids, in my opinion). Everything holds up well, too. I’ll usually find something Sutton likes and then get it in a couple colors.
Specifically, I’ll grab her a few pairs of denim and some skirts to wear on their own or to layer over leggings once fall hits. I’ll also grab her a bunch of basic t-shirts and tops. For outerwear, I couldn’t get over these matching trench coats, so we both came home with one. I mean, every girl needs a basic trench right?! Sutton thought so.Â
I also grabbed her a puffer vest and jacket, as these are great for layering once things cool down. Again, we got this entire haul at Uniqlo, so if you haven’t done your back-to-school shopping yet, you should check them out!
