Favorite Jeans for Fall

Today’s blog post I answering a question that so many of you have been asking: what style jeans should I wear for fall?

If I were to create my ideal pair of jeans for fall it would have to include these 4 things…

1 // a darker wash, but not too dark, to go with all the cool fall colors.

2 // a skinny + flattering fit that wears well with all my boots. I appreciate a pair of jeans that fit well under my OTK and calve height boots. Nothing is worse than bunched up jeans around your knees when wearing your favorite tall boots.

3 // a perfect length. As in a length that is just right so my jeans don’t bunch up along my ankles when I am wearing my booties and hit at just the right length when I wear loafers and slip-ons shoes.

4 // Denim that has stretch and is forgiving; a pair that I can move in. Nobody likes a tight, non-forgiving pair of jeans that is totally uncomfortable. I love a good stretch, but also, keeps its shape.

Luckily (and surprisingly) I found just that pair. Enter my Current Elliott jeans from Nordstrom. They really are the perfect pair for fall…. Perfect wash, perfect length, perfect fit and perfect stretch. If there was only one pair of jeans I could wear for fall, these would be it.

And I wanted to mention….I wear a bunch of different clothes, jeans, etc, and Michael is so used to seeing all different kinds of styles on me, but this pair of jeans he actually complimented me like several times when I was wearing them. When he does that, it means he really likes my look and wants me to wear it more.
