I am so excited for this long weekend! I love weekends with our little family and, after being at home most of the week, we are usually ready to get out of the house for a bit. I wanted to share one of our favorite local spots to hang out at as a family!
Park Place is a quaint shopping village in Leawood that is filled with cute shops, restaurants, and places to hang out. They have live music on the weekends and a farmer’s market on Wednesday evenings from 3-7pm. This plus their open play area makes it a huge attraction for people with kiddos that need a place to go.
I love all of the shops. Pink antler is my go to shop for party supplies, cards, and gifts. Sutton is always spoiled with a ballon there – I am currently planning Sutton’s birthday party with Pink Antler!! I also make it a point to stop in Hand and Land – another fun place for gifts and home goods.
Sutton’s must stop place is T Loft Juice. We all love our juice drinks and I recommend trying the protein balls – the PB is my fav!
Another store that Sutton loves is the Learning Tree – so many great educational toys. I love how they have so many out on display for the kids to try out.
Lately, she has really been interested in checking out the beautiful aquariums at the Picasso Exotic Aquatics store – thinking a little fish may be in our future!
There are several great restaurants at Park Place. I love the outdoor patio at Pig and Finch and the Grille. For date night, Michael and I frequent 801 Fish or RA!
After dinner, or really most times we are there, you will find us at the Gelato place. We grab our gelato and head out to the green space to listen to music or watch the kids play!
