Free People Sweater // Topshop Pleated Midi // Adidas Superstar // Chloe Faye Bag
So today’s post was originally going to be a look that Michael wore in NYC, but I somehow managed to delete all the photos that were just of him and I am so bummed about it! We shot right in time square and Michael was hesitant at first to get his pictures taken, but he soon quickly realized that nobody in NYC cares or stares when you’re shooting. It’a actually quite nice.
So instead, I wanted to share this monochromatic look that is perfect for transitioning into fall. I love taking an oversized sweater and pair with a lighter bottom, like a skirt or cut-off shorts. It’s still warm enough to wear skirt or shorts, yet getting cooler to pull out the sweaters. This Free People turtleneck sweater from Nordstrom (seen styled a different way here) is soooooo soft and lightweight. I love the blue color, it pairs so well with denim and I loved how it paired with this light blue pleated midi skirt, also from Nordstrom.
This Free People cardigan is also another great piece that layers and transitions from summer to fall.
