Hi friends! Quick post today, as I type this I feel myself getting ready to nod off. With the whole daylight savings and the gaining of an hour you would think I got an extra hour of sleep, however Sutton woke up extra early and by extra early, I mean two hours early. Thankfully, Michael played with her the first hour so I could sleep a bit longer but I am still tired. We even tried keeping her up an hour later on Saturday night, but it didn’t work. Hopefully this week she transitions to the change.
Anyway, I hope you all had a great Halloween weekend. We have such a fun time taking Sutton around trick-or-treating. Friday we took her to one of my favorite outdoor malls that had trick or treating for kids. She dressed up as a biker ballerina and danced her way around for treats, it was so funny. The girl will dance anytime she hears music. Afterwards we got out favorite Mexican takeout and watched the World Series. Go Royals! Saturday we took her to another trick or treating event, and that was packed with kids and parents. It was so fun to watch Sutton just stare at all the other kids in costumes. Afterwards, we headed home for homemade soup and trick or treating around the neighborhood. Sutton ate so much candy. I didn’t plan on giving her any sugar, however to keep her in costume it required several suckers and a couple kit kat bars. How did you spend your Halloween?
I love this long detailed cardigan for fall. It’s not your typical style. The cute embellishments are unexpected and it fits great. I layered over a tank here and the other day I wore it over a black tee. I have been paring it with sneakers, but it would look great with tall boots or booties as well.
Cardigan fits true to size – wearing size small
Jeans fit a bit oversized-still wearing my true size 26
