So today I picked up my wedding dress from the cleaners…FINALLY. Yes, I was a little late on taking it in, I believe it was October, and I got married this past June. They told me it will take over 4-5 weeks to clean and the lady who does it, had a waiting list. Apparently, you have to be certified to clean wedding dresses, which I was relieved me to hear. You don’t want someone who doesn’t know what they are doing trying to clean one of the most important dresses of your life that you plan on keeping forever.
When I saw my dress today, I wanted to put it back on soooo bad! But I didn’t, it cannot be touched with hands or skin oils if you want to preserve it for a long period of time. I have no idea what day I will touch or put on my dress again. Hopefully it’s when I have a daughter and she is wanting to wear it for her special day. Which got me thinking, I wonder if my dress will even be something she wants to wear, hypothetically thinking. I was not requesting to wear my mom’s dress (mom don’t take offense) but I really think my daughter will be.
I wanted to share some photos of our wedding. And to my friends and family who follow this blog and have already seen this photos 20 times, I apologize;)

I wish our wedding could have been two days long, the dress, the time and the importance of that event should be entitled to that…or so I think;) I loved every second! Michael and I are grateful for everyone who was a part of our special day. We are so lucky to have such amazing friends and family. If you are in the planning process of your wedding, hire a good photographer and videographer, it was the best decision we made.
