Festival Style

post featured image

It’s no secret that warm weather goes hand in hand with festival season. Just about everywhere you look, you’ll find a music festival. From big name music festivals such as Coachella or smaller food or culture festivals, these fun-filled events are full of some of the coolest style. No matter which festival you attend this season, the one thought on your mind is “what the heck do I wear!?”

There are a variety festival clothing styles you could wear to a music festival. There is boho, gypsy, rocker, punk, electric and so on. What you wear really depends on your personal style and what you’re comfortable wearing. I love that Bloomindale’shas a lookbook just for festival style. Lots of cute outfit ideas for every outdoor festival and occasion.

Comfort is priority to me for festival style. These outdoor events can often be hot and humid and require standing. Think casual cool. And as in cool, I mean temperature wise. Nothing is worse than sweating your curls out because you didn’t plan accordingly. I like to have an option to layer. A draped leather jacket is an easy answer to cooler days/nights. I LOVE the star embellishments on this one. It adds a fun element to your typical moto. When you aren’t wearing, tie around your waist or drape over your bag.

This darling lace slip dress adds a feminine component and is great for twirling to your favorite tunes. It also can be worn with denim cut-offs and long cardigan. I like the idea of adding a embellished boot to complete the look. I prefer a boot vs a sandal because if I wear sandals to festivals, my feet are black and dirty by the end of it all.

What festivals are you attending this year?
