Found this recipe on Pinterest and, as a margarita lover, I knew we had to try for the holidays! This is a delicious and festive drink that would be delicious even for those who don’t typically love margaritas. Add some festive shaped ice cubes and pretty glassware, and you’ve got your Christmas Day cocktail!
Ingredients
Makes one drink.
4 oz almond or coconut milk
2 oz tequila
1/2 oz triple sec
1 tbsp cream of coconut
Juice from 1/2 a lime
1 tsp agave
Festive ice cube
Directions
MAKE CHRISTMAS TREE ICE CUBES THE DAY BEFORE WITH WATER, FRESH CRANBERRIES AND FRESH ROSEMARY IN AN ICE MOLD.
FILL SHAKER OR TALL GLASS WITH CHOICE OF MILK, TEQUILA, TRIPLE SEC, CREAM OF COCONUT, LIME JUICE AND AGAVE.
SHAKE OR WHISK UNTIL SMOOTH.
TAKE COCKTAIL GLASS, DIP RIM IN LIME JUICE AND THEN IN SUGAR.
POUR COCKTAIL IN GLASS. TIP: TOP OFF WITH SPARKLING WATER FOR SOME BUBBLES.
GARNISH WITH THE CHRISTMAS TREE ICE CUBES.
