Our Powder Bathroom

post featured image

One of my favorite bathrooms in our house is the powder bath right off the kitchen and living room. I always wanted a dreamy floating marble sink and just love the look of this. The design is simple, no tile or backsplash, we just let the marble and designer speak for itself.

As for the mirror, my designer suggested doing a mirror from sink to ceiling with a large bevel instead of a decorative one and I am glad we went this route. It really shows the height of the ceiling and lets the scones make a edgy statement.

I still need to select some art for above the toilet and as far as a light fixture…the one we originally selected was too big for the space (the door would actually hit it) so we moved that light fixture to my studio bath and will eventually add one…. I think.

Here are all the details and sources for our powder bath,

+ The walls are White Dove in Benjamin Moore.

+ The countertop is a marble, Panonazzo Marble.

+Jug vase from Target here.

+Pampas Gress here.

+ The sink is Kohler.

+ Sink hardware is House of Rohl here in French Brass.

+Mirror is from a local mirror company. We asked for the biggest bevel.

+ Sconces are from Kelly Wearstler similar here.

+ Flooring is herringbone wood floor – as it is throughout the whole first level of our home.

+Brass stool for kids here.
