What I’m Loving: Neutral Rugs

When designing and picking decor for our new home, I always knew I wanted it to be neutrals forward. I’m not naturally drawn towards a lot of color in my wardrobe, which has carried over into styling our home. However, with having three kids and a dog, life gets messy and there’s always something to clean up. So when picking rugs and carpet for the new house, I had to be realistic both with the fabrics and styles. A white, faux fur rug is just not practical for our life right now – or maybe ever – and would likely be a nightmare on the daily.

For the rugs in our home, I worked directly with the design team on sourcing. Below I’m rounding up my favorite neutral rugs, some of which we have in our home now. These ten are great because they have enough color variation or patterns to cover up any pesky stains so you don’t have to worry. Reader tip – always have a bottle of Folex handy just in case – it works wonders!
