How to Wear the 90s Trend

October 13, 2019

By now you’ve probably noticed that the 90s are back in a big way. It seems like all my favorite brands and retailers have completely embraced it – including Urban Outfitters. Whenever I want to try something trendy, UO is always my go-to. They consistently have the best options at great prices. This is why when I saw they had the new FILA Collection, which is only available at UO, I knew I had to try something from their collab. I’ve been looking for a way to incorporate a 90s vibe but wanted it to still feel like my style and I definitely think this look is perfect!

The FILA + UO collab features tons of different pieces from long-sleeve tees, hoodies, mock neck sweatshirts (love a good mock neck), jackets and so much more, but I fell in love as soon as I saw these sneakers. I really like the whole collection though because everything is super wearable and can fit into an everyday, casual wardrobe. FILA is just one of those classic brands you can always rely on to put out quality products.

Back to the sneakers though! I absolutely love the chunky style and of course the neutral color palette. If you’re a color lover though, don’t worry! The sneakers – and the entire collection – features lots of fun colors so there are lots of options depending on your personal style!

The rest of my outfit is also from UO and all the pieces are perfect fall/winter staples. These jeans are a particular favorite of mine, while this puffer is so cozy and warm. And I can’t forget about this cropped sweater – SO cute with high waisted denim or leggings!
Have you shopped FILA at UO before (they’ve been collab-ing since 2015!)? Whether you’re a longtime wearer of either of the brands or this is your first time, I highly recommend checking out the new FILA + UO Collection!
