One of my favorite parts of my job is the working from home thing. Mainly because there’s nothing better than being able to wear comfortable clothes most days of the week. You guys know I love my comfort 🙂 But I have learned that it’s crucial to change out of your actual pajamas. It not only helps my productivity when I put on a “work from home” outfit, but I feel better about myself, too. There’s a fine line between comfy and frumpy, so I find myself wearing a lot of styled loungewear – or at least that’s what I call it. So today I wanted to share what I wear when working from home!
This outfit is a typical Monday-Friday look when I’m at my computer or taking calls from my office. It’s relaxed but still put together, and I’m not embarrassed to run to the coffee shop or pick up the kids in something like this. It’s basically my happy medium of pajamas and a real work outfit.
Funny enough, there aren’t a ton of places that do loungewear well. Most stores only carry comfortable workout/fitness apparel or PJs, and it’s not always easy to find that balance of feeling put together. Which is why I find myself shopping over and over again at Lou & Grey. They’re one of the best for comfy basics and transitional loungewear, and literally, everything they make feels SO good on.
I live in their joggers (have 3 different colors) year round, and love that they can compliment so many styles. Come this time of year, I start swapping my t-shirts for something heavier, like this poncho sweater. It’s cute on its own but I personally like it with a long sleeve underneath for some dimension and added texture. I’m also really into their hoodies and matching sets – everything is high quality and they have a lot of neutrals, which I’m obviously a fan of.
So whether you work from home or are just looking for styled loungewear, definitely check out Lou & Grey. They’re actually available on Nordstrom.com and in certain Nordstrom locations now too, so they’re even easier to shop. You’ll love!
