Holiday Dressing with Nordstrom

Tis the season… party season, that is. Without a cocktail in hand, holiday party season can be incredibly taxing. If you’re even semi style-conscious, most of the stress comes from one simple question: “What am I going to wear?!”

Semi-formal holiday parties, I feel,  are some of the toughest to dress for, because you can easily show up over- or under-dressed. I always feel comfortable in a cute sweater, so when I saw this fringe one from Nordstrom (free shipping + returns) under $100 I had to have it. I will be able to wear this not only to holiday parties but also happy hours and date night. I paired it the other day with a pretty statement necklace and loved the look. To dress up the sweater a bit more for holiday parties, I paired with a black skinny coated jeans–these NYDJ ones are AMAZING–probably the most comfortable pair of jeans I own, and my black suede over the knee boots.  Another cute option would be to pair with a leather skirt and heels, or with a pair of sequin leggings.
