Hi guys! Today’s post is all about Sutton’s style. So many of you have emailed me or commented asking where I shop for some of her outfits. So, I thought I would share with all of you some of her cool weather items I have gotten so far!
Her Hunter boots are probably one of my favorite purchases for her thus far. Not only are they ADORABLE, but also super durable and easy to clean. I remember my sister (mother of 3) telling me how often her kids wore their Hunter boots and now I see why. Kids can wear them every season and they don’t get ruined like most other shoes. I got them thinking Sutton would just wear them in the fall, but I just got the sock liners and now she can use these as winter boots too! They work for rain, snow, dirt, you name it. That’s why I love mine so much. I actually prefer them over any other boot in the winter. The added bonus of getting to match Sutton is enough for me to want to buy more colors 😉 We have both sported our Hunters during recent trips to the Arboretum, Pumpkin Patch and Cider Mill – and got so many comments on how cute we looked 🙂  Nordstrom has always been my go to place for Hunter boots. I like to see the colors of the boots in person and now, with Sutton, I need to try them on her. I like to buy them a little larger for her to allow room for growth as well as room for the sock liners.
Another item that Sutton has been wearing often is her cute little military jacket from Nordstrom. As I have a version of this jacket for myself – again matching = awesome.  I love how it layers over any of Sutton’s outfits. She looks like a mini-fashionista without trying, ha! This really is the perfect jacket for fall as it is nice and lightweight and matches anything.
Next on my list is a winter coat. I have my mind set on either a Northface or Patagonia for Sutton. Again, another item that my sister swears by for the kids. They are durable, warm and so, so cute. Trying to pick out the color I want is proving to be the hardest part!
Like most of you, Nordstroms has always been my favorite place to shop for myself. I never realized how much I would love shopping there for Sutton. From being able to try things on and huge selections, to the ease of their online ordering, it really is the first place you should look when starting your search for the cold weather necessities.
