We have been trying to soak in these summer days! It is our first summer in KC and we have really enjoyed exploring the city. I love bringing Sutton out with us on these mini adventures…allowing her to explore along with us. We have fallen in love with our city and found so many fun areas to explore. Sutton is pointing at everything now…I find it SO darling. Since bringing Sutton with us adds another layer of work on our ventures out, I try to keep my outfits easy and comfy while still feeling cute. A sun hat has been a staple for me this summer. I am also in love with this easy chambray dress. It is so comfy and easy to dress up or down. I hope you are all enjoying your summers too!! Have any of you been to KC? Any areas you recommend I explore?

Love this little chambray dress, and it look great with the polka dot shirt. Such an easy, cute summer look, and Sutton looks adorable too! Rachael http://www.threadsforthomasblog.com
Becky, where did you move here from? I grew up in KC but am in Lawrence now – the perk is that I get to stay in hotels when we have KC date nights 🙂 I lived in the River Market in my early twenties and if you haven't been down to the city market on a Saturday morning you NEED to do that (macaroons at Bloom Bakery too 😉 There are some really cute little boutiques in Brookside (Addie Rose) that you should definitely check out as well. I could go on and on – KC is one of America's little hidden secrets 😉 LOVE YOUR HAT! XO, Sarah http://www.sunflowersandsuburbs.blogspot.com

I love your dress with the chambray tied over but it's adorable alone too! Looks super thin for those hot days!
