Birthday Weekend and Giveaway Winner!

Hi guys! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine went way too fast! We had quite the busy weekend…including celebrating my birthday, which is today. This past year has flown by, it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating my 30th birthday. 30 was a great year for me, I started a new business and this blog. I have to say both are truly a passion for me and have made me very very happy! I am so excited to see what 31 brings me!
To celebrate Michael took me out for drinks, dinner and cupcakes Friday. It was a perfect low key evening, just how I wanted. The rest of the weekend we spent with our families who were both in town for the weekend. Saturday I woke up bright and early and met my parents and my niece and nephew at the local pumpkin patch. We had so much fun watching pig races, riding ponies, trains and eating turkey legs and popcorn. After the pumpkin patch we went out to Michael’s aunt and uncle’s for his family’s thanksgiving. His family is always so much fun. We watched some college football, did some fishing, drank a ton of wine, had a pool tourney (which Michael and I won) and had a huge shrimp boil. No turkey just lots of shrimp and wine. My kind of thanksgiving if you ask me.
Sunday, once we got home, we cleaned for an open house and then then went to my sister’s to stay the night and watch the kids. We are also taking them to daycare bright and early the next morning..so we shall see how that goes. It’s our first time staying overnight with the kids and taking them to daycare. It will be good training for us, hopefully! What a weekend, eh? I need an extra Sunday. How did you spend your weekend?
