When it comes to shopping for new pieces to add to my wardrobe, one thing I continuously look for in a good garment is versatility. I appreciate chic tops and bottoms that can be styled for the day as well as the night, especially during summer when date night becomes more habitual.
One brand I discovered recently that gets date night pieces right is J.Ing. With light airy fabrics, soft muted colors, and feminine patterns, J.Ing offers some of the most stylish date night pieces fit for the summer heat. Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite looks from this brand as well as the essential pieces you need for a special night out.
I love silk blouses because they’re inherently romantic – and they work for both lunch and evening dates. This one by J.Ing adapts to any situation depending on how you style it. In the evening, it can be tucked into a fun skirt, but during the daytime, it can be dressed down with some distressed skinny jeans or tapered cargo pants.
Ruffle skirts are such a great statement piece for a flirty summer look. J.Ing offers some of the most unique styles that are bold yet beautiful. I’m loving the utilitarian details on the one I’m wearing here.
When in doubt, you really can’t go wrong with a floral number. Whether it’s a blouse or a sundress, floral prints make the perfect starting point to build any outfit around. Just add the right pair of heels and a mini bag to complete the look.
Bold Colored Dress
For nights when I’m grabbing drinks – preferably on a patio or rooftop somewhere – I love throwing on a simple bright dress. This one has a bit of structure to the look, but overall, it’s simple and chic. It works with heels or flat lace-up sandals.
It’s safe to say that the polka dot trend is here to stay and I’m loving J.Ing’s fresh and fun take on the retro print this season. If you’re still easing yourself into the trend swap your usual pastel blouse for a polka dots and finish off the look with simple, neutral accessories.
What are your favorite summer date night pieces?
Big thanks to J.Ing for sponsoring this post.
