I hope you all had a great weekend! I was home with both kids, while Michael was away for work, so it was an uneventful weekend to say the least. It was nice to wake up Saturday and have no where to go with the kids and just have some chill time with them. Michael’s parents ending up coming to visit Saturday evening, so that was nice. We went out for Mexican and some much needed margaritas and then Sunday morning I was able to sneak away for barre class. Greyson has been sleeping till 8am so it’s been nice to catch up on some sleep!

I meant to share this look sooner with you all, since we shot it several weeks ago. I wore this for a casual day with a lunch meeting, and later that night for an early dinner date with Michael. If you haven’t noticed by now, I love mixing dressy and casual pieces. This skirt can easily be worn for work, or more dressy occasions, as well as lunch out with girlfriends, happy hours, and showers. I paired the skirt the other day with a plain white tee and sandals. I had a similar white lace skirt years ago, that I wore so much it got hole in the side, so when I saw this one I ordered immediately because I knew I would wear so much. I love finding pieces I can get so much wear out of. This fits high-waisted which is so flattering!

The sweater is another great piece for spring and summer. Yes, it is a sweater, but it has a loose knit, which makes it cooler and perfect for layering. I love throwing it on over a tank with cut-off jean shorts for cooler summer nights. It looks really pretty with this bra. I love the mustard color shade, and tempted to get in in that color too!
