Express Date Night

I am so excited to be sharing a date night look today on the blog. It’s not very often that Michael makes an appearance on the blog 😉 Date night has always been something we both look forward to each week…even more so now that we have Sutton! We have made it a priority to carve out this time for each other and I think that benefits not only us, but also Sutton too. Plus, it’s fun to get dressed up (casual or dressy) and take a night out to explore new spots and restaurants! We love going out somewhat early and finding a fun spot for happy hour. Then, to spread out evening out a little, we head to a different spot for dinner and, of course, dessert. 

With the warmer temps, dressing for date night is much easier…and fun! Express is a favorite spot of ours -both because it carries both men and women’s lines, and because we love everything in the store. Michael has always loved the great fit of the Express menswear line and I LOVE this new chambray denim blazer he got. It can easily be dressed up with white pants, dress shirt and tie or dressed more casual with a T-shirt and jeans. He also found some cool denim dress shoes. By the way, you should see his shoe collection, if you think I am bad…

Michael wasn’t the only one who found some things to buy! I went straight for the whites when shopping there. They have the preetiest white and cream lace tops, essential white jeans, and beautiful white dresses – all perfect for summer!

I love this white ruffle maxi dress. It is effortless, stunning, and such a pretty look for date night. I paired it with a pink quilted hangbag and white wedges – all from Express. 

We also got coordinating blue outfits for our dates to the KC royals games. Cute, huh? 😉 Michael got this casual, short-sleeve chambray top and dark skinny jeans. I got an adorable off the shoulder denim ruffle dress. Both outfits perfect for summer baseball games!
